Dr. Michelle Turner - Veterinarian

Dr. Turner relocated to California to become a Veterinarian at the Emergency Pet Hospital of Redlands. She joins the team all the way from the South East! She received a bachelor’s in industrial engineering from Georgia Tech in 2004 prior to realizing her passion for veterinary medicine. She then completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia in 2009. After graduation, Dr. Turner spent a short time in general practice before becoming an emergency clinician at SCVSEC in Columbia, SC. She continued to do relief in general practice, spay/neuter, and shelter medicine throughout the south east. After 6 years in emergency medicine, she pursued an opportunity in veterinary industry with Hills Pet Nutrition. Realizing her heart belonged in emergency medicine, she returned to the ER in 2017 to Emergency Pet Hospital of Redlands.

Her primary interests in veterinary medicine include trauma, soft tissue surgery, and feline medicine. She has a passion for teaching and mentoring staff and other veterinarians. Dr. Turner and her husband currently reside in Rancho Cucamonga with their four children, 5 cats, a mixed breed Waylon and pitbull Bonnie.
