Emergency Care Designed to Comfort Your Pet

When a pet arrives in critical condition or severe distress, keeping their nervous system calm supports better medical outcomes. From our care approach to our facility, everything we do is designed to reduce stress on your pet.

A Calming Environment

Whenever possible, cats and dogs are kept apart in waiting and ward areas. Calming pheromones, soft lighting, and white noise ease anxiety in treatment spaces.

Gentle, Low-Stress Handling

A frightened pet is met with patience, a calm voice, and handling techniques that allow us to examine and treat with a gentle touch.

Relief Before Diagnostics

Pain relief and, when appropriate, light sedation are given early, so a frightened or hurting pet is never forced through an exam or imaging while struggling.

Clean, Quiet Recovery Spaces

While in our care, pets rest in warm, comfortable kennels where our team can keep a close eye on every patient without disturbing them.

No appointment needed - walk-ins welcome.

If you can, call (909) 793-5999 before you leave or on the way. Our team will ask a few quick questions to help us prepare for your arrival.

We're located at 1422 Industrial Park Ave – just off the I-10 at the Alabama Street exit — in the Tri-City Center. Parking is free and available directly in front of the building.
Upon Arrival
Upon Arrival
As soon as you arrive, our team checks your pet in and quickly evaluates their condition to identify anything that needs immediate attention. The most critical cases are seen first, which may mean another pet is taken back before yours. We do our very best to make sure every pet is seen as soon as possible.

If your pet is able to wait, our staff will continue to monitor them for any changes in their condition.

If your pet's condition is critical, they may be taken directly to our treatment area to be stabilized. We will come find you as soon as possible to explain what is happening and walk you through the next steps.
Exam and Treatment
Exam and Treatment
Once your pet is in an exam or treatment area, the veterinarian examines them more closely and talks you through exactly what they are seeing. Some pets are examined with you in the room. Critical patients are usually examined in our treatment area, where the full team and equipment are close at hand.

Before any treatment starts, we will walk you through our recommendations and provide a cost estimate. Nothing moves forward until you have approved it.

Some pets are treated and go home on the same visit. Others need to stay with us for monitoring, fluids, surgery, or overnight care. If your pet stays, you will know who is caring for them, how to reach us, and when to expect an update. While your pet is with us, they rest in warm, comfortable kennels where our team can keep a close eye on them.
Discharge & Aftercare
Discharge & Aftercare
When your pet is ready to leave, we will go over discharge instructions with you in person and in writing. This may include directions on medications, feeding, activity, what to watch for, and when to follow up. We also send a summary of the visit to your regular veterinarian so they can continue your pet's care.

We work as an extension of your regular veterinarian, not a replacement. If your pet still needs care once your veterinarian's office reopens, and your pet is stable enough to travel, we can arrange a transfer so your own veterinarian can pick up where we left off. Pets who need continued emergency care stay with us until they are ready.

Transparent Pricing & Care Plans

We understand that emergency care is an unplanned expense. Here's how we help you work through the cost:

  • Upfront estimates before any treatment begins.
  • Flexible payment options, including CareCredit and ScratchPay.
  • Pet Insurance support to assist in filing a claim.

Forms & New Patient Paperwork

If your pet needs immediate attention, don't stop for paperwork. Call us or come straight in, and we'll handle the forms together once your pet is in good hands. When time allows, new patients can get a head start by filling out our registration form and a medical history questionnaire at home.

Here When Your Pet Needs Us

Whether your pet needs help this minute or you're making sure you know where to go before an emergency happens, you’re in the right place.

Frequently Asked Questions

Every pet is evaluated as soon as they arrive. Pets with life-threatening concerns are treated first — this determines the order of care, not the order of arrival.

It depends on what your pet needs. Some visits are quick; others take longer if your pet needs monitoring, diagnostics, or ongoing treatment. Our team will keep you updated as care progresses.

Bringing any medical history or medication list helps, but never delay care to complete paperwork. If your pet needs immediate attention, call or come in right away — you can complete forms once you're here.

Every visit begins with an emergency exam, which has a set fee. The rest depends on what your pet needs. Before any treatment starts, you will receive an estimate to approve, and if cost is a concern, we will talk through payment and financing options together before you decide.
